Since 2015, India’s Renewable Energy portfolio has increased tremendously from 10 GW to 100 GW. India has an ambitious plan to increase its domestic RE portfolio to 175 GW by 2022 and to 450 GW by 2030. India has taken several initiatives, including setting up of the International Solar Alliance, launching and renewing supporting schemes and policies for the wind energy, bio-energy, bio-fuels and recently launched an ambitious National Hydrogen Mission. These continuous efforts reflect the strong intent of the nation to decouple its emissions from economic growth. This webinar will discuss about the facts and status of India’s RE mission and the opportunities available in different RE verticals.
